Ofelia Guerra
Founder & Executive Director
Ofelia Guerra founded Ballet Folklorico de Chicago with a vision to make Mexican folkloric dance accessible to all communities in the city. She holds both a BS and MBA from DePaul University and brings extensive leadership experience to the organization. As Executive Director, she guides programming, artistic direction, and community outreach, ensuring that Ballet Folklorico de Chicago continues to thrive as a cultural institution.


Maria Guerra
Director
Maria Guerra holds a BS in Communications, MBA, and JD from DePaul University. With a background in communications, law, and nonprofit leadership, she brings valuable insight to Ballet Folklorico de Chicago’s board. Maria is committed to empowering youth and ensuring that the organization continues to serve as a platform for cultural pride and artistic development.
Andres Ochoa
Director
Andres Ochoa holds a BS in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As a board member, he contributes his professional expertise and perspective to Ballet Folklorico de Chicago’s leadership team. His support helps strengthen the organization’s foundation as it continues to grow and serve the community.
